Immunity: To Vaccinate Or Not To Vaccinate

As a new feature of Thinking Business Blog, I plan to publish a brief, one paragraph summary of the business books that I am reading. This will be a very high level synopsis of the book and what I gained from it. I will publish these summaries as I complete the books and not on a predetermined schedule. I trust you will benefit from them.

The first book I reviewed was Procrastinate on Purpose.

The second review was Bill Browder’s book, Red Notice

The third review was Atul Gawande’s book The Checklist Manifesto

The fourth review was Brad Lomenick’s H3 Leadership

The fifth review is On Immunity: An Inoculation by Eula Bliss

Bliss takes a philosophical approach to explaining the pros and cons of vaccinations and she does it in the context of her life as a mother. This is not a medical textbook although it is based on some solid medical research and facts. My take-away from this book is that the benefits of vaccinations far outweigh the risks and that we are a global community of individuals and the lack of immunity in single individuals will definitely impact the whole of the community.

Leave a comment on your thoughts and experiences with inoculations below.
